  2. OsxAptioFixDrv: Starting overrides for System\Library\CoreServices\boot.efi Hi to whomever is reading this. I'm fairly new to Hackintosh and don't understand everything. The situation I am in, is that I have followed a tutorial to install OS X Sierra without a Mac (Using TransMac) and I've followed numerous tutorials on YouTube. I keep getting stuck at the same point each time and I get this error OsxAptioFixDrv: Starting overrides for System\Library\CoreServices\boot.efi Using reloc block: yes, hibernate wake: yes +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ and that's it, I don't go any further. I get this error right after having clicked install macOS Sierra on the clover boot menu. What I'm asking is, is there a way to fix this, or get past it so that I'm able to dual boot windows and OS X Sierra? I don't have a Mac (not anymore anyway) so that's why I'm looking for a way to do it without a mac. 3. MacOS on HP 15-ay198nr

MacOS on HP 15-ay198nr I have a HP 15-ay198nr, it has an Intel i7 7th generation processor, 8 GB of RAM, Intel HD graphics, and a SSD in it. Here are the FULL specs for my laptop. Is it compatible? Does any of these specs put out a huge red flag? CPU Intel Core i7 @ 2.70GHz Kaby Lake-U/Y 14nm Technology RAM 8.00GB Single-Channel Unknown @ 1064MHz (15-15-15-35) Motherboard HP 81ED (U3E1) 28 °C Graphics Generic PnP Monitor (1366x768@60Hz) Intel HD Graphics 620 (HP) Storage 238GB SanDisk SD8SNAT-256G-1006 (SSD) Optical Drives hp DVDRW DU8AESH Audio Realtek High Definition Audio Network Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter I tried installing it once via multibeast, I could get the installer to open, but then nothing would happen when I would try and install it. It would go to the loading screen, but no further. Maybe I should try using the hackintosh zone files instead? Thanks in advance.

  6. Installation help needed..

Hello everyone, I am trying to install hackintosh in my laptop with specs Dell 5548 Intel i7 5th-gen (perhaps a broad well architecture not sure ) AMD R7 M270 GPU 8GB RAM 1TB HD 1080p display Touchscreen I am not sure if my laptop is supported but still I have tried something. I have downloaded Niresh's Yosemite 10.10.1 with chameleon boot-loader built in Created a USB Using Yosemite Package When I boot it and tried some boot-flags it shows an message error detected....and pausing 5 seconds and go to gray screen with re apple logo and stuck there only. (I don't know why may be because of broad well architecture.) So I have downloaded Yosemite 10.10.3 because I read it supports broadwell but whenever I search regarding hackintosh 10.10.3 I always get updating ones not a clean install. I am eagerly wanting to install hackintosh since few years. Can somebody here help me out?? Thanks

  9. Let me start off by saying that I am willing to pay for some extra help if necessary. I love Yosemite and I've been struggling with this for a couple weekends, so if someone does a great job of helping out I can definitely recognize that via PayPal. I have an HP DV6t-6100 with Insyde f1.b BIOS, i7 2820QM, Intel HD 3000 graphics and a Radeon HD 6770m 2gb on 16gb RAM and a hybrid 1tb drive partitioned 872gb Windows 7 / 128gb OS X Yosemite (hopefully). I also have a 1920x1080 resolution screen that I don't care about getting working correctly, I just want to at least install. I currently am attempting a Unibeast boot (so if I understand correctly, Chimera/Chameleon). Previously, I've gotten as far as to run the installer in Yosemite Zone and even had a bootable Yosemite with -x and CPUs=1. I would go back to Yosemite Zone(at least I knew it could work) but for the life of me I cannot get the installer to run again. I can't get the bootloader to boot past the forward slash symbol in the upper left corner, and I don't know which version I had that was running. I've tried 3 out that I've found to each have different file sizes from various torrent networks and google searched - none of them work. I get the bootloader to run - I select the USB drive of my four options to boot into, and using the boot flags -v, and CPUs=1 I get this screen here: Notice that I have a lapic_kernel panic, on an HP laptop, which is typical. But look at my boot flags!! I have CPUs=1 set. I normally use -x as well, but I forgot here and it creates the same message regardless. I have a quad core It's common knowledge that HP Laptops have local APIC issues, well documented, and there is already a KernelPatcher.dylib fix for the issue(shouts out to donovan6000? I think). Supposedly you can use CPUs=1 as a short term fix for the issue. Obviously this isn't the case for me. Regardless of the fact that CPUs=1 didn't resolve the issue in my case, I tried to use KernelPatcher.dylib, installed it in the Extra/modules folder using TransMac, and after I did that I got even less far in the bootloader process. I don't care about working Audio, working high resolution graphics, or anything else. If I can get to barely crawl through the boot and install process and get to a functioning Finder window I will be 100% happy. I can do the rest of the playing around with kext files stuff later, right now I just want it to boot. Aside from the KernelPatcher.dylib I threw into Extra/modules (and then took out) I am using a completely virgin copy of Unibeast on a 64gb SanDisk USB drive. My Unibeast options: Yosemite 10.10.1 downloaded from Mac App Store on a real copy of Yosemite Laptop Support On Legacy USB On (didn't think I would need this one but without it I can't seem to load Chimera) I don't have a DSDT file, and I'm not sure if I need one. I've looked at tonymacs DSDT section and they have HP ProBook but that's the closest thing I could find - didn't seem like quite a good fit. Was I wrong? My motherboard, as typical of Insyde f1.b, is locked. It is using BIOS. The options I have from memory are.. Virtualization(enabled) action keys(enabled) changes Fx keys to require holding fn+Fx key, don't think this matters switchable graphics fixed/dynamic(set to fixed.) this controls how the dual graphics switch, all the guides I've read have said to stick with Fixed so I haven't experimented too much out side of this setting. fan always on(disabled) I think this lets the fan turn off if the CPU is cool enough. Don't think this matters, but my fan doesn't turn off during bootloader anyways lol My hard drive is a fusion 20gb flash 980gb HDD. I don't know how this correlates to the bootloader - I've tried dropssdt=yes a couple times but it doesn't seem to do anything different. But like I said I did get Yosemite Zone running ONCE but I cannot(and believe me I have tried) get it to run again. I am definitely doing something wrong. I'd like to stick with Unibeast if possible, but I'm open to whatever, I'm even going to buy a second USB stick in a couple days here to test out two easily. SO right now KernelPatcher.dylib is not installed, but it can be in a second. LET ME KNOW if there is ANY more information I can provide, I will be happy too. I tried to put everything I could think of in here. I've seen videos and posts of people with my same model of laptop, DV6t-6100, running Yosemite(more commonly mavericks) showing off that they have like 99% of the laptop working, so I know it's possible, I just don't know how they got there. I would be ecstatic if I could get this working tonight. Any help is so, so appreciated.
  10. Haswell kernel not found

Hello everybody I followed every step of niresh's guide but am still unable to launch the installation. It gives me a kernel panic but I'm not sure where I should start to look to solve the problem. I tried to boot with the "haswell" boot arg but gave me ".../kernel/haswell not found" if I try "/haswell" it starts booting but I'm not sure if the right kernel is loaded... The furthest I got in booting is a rule that says "debugger not configured. Hanging." and can't seem to find a way to fix it. I am a total noob but after dozen of hours re-intalling and searching the web I finally turn to you guys for help. What boot arg's should I use ? Also, should I install a custom kernel ? Thanks in advance Me Ps: my specs: Model : Asus 550LF Processor : i7 4500u RAM : 8GB DDR3 Graphics : Nvidia GeForce GT 745M OS : Windows 8.1 Pro
  11. Hey guys this is my first post, so sorry if I get anything wrong. I got the Mavericks DMG loaded it up on an 8 gig flash drive, booted it with somewhat success. By that, I mean I saw an Apple logo, then I saw the spinner stop and sit for a bit, then I rebooted with the -v boot arg and it sayed at the very bottom [AGPM Controller] Unknown Platform. What does this mean, and how do I fix it? I followed a set of instructions beforehand, so I booted with -s (Single user mode) but fsck -fymount -uw / is an illegal command apparently, so I couldn't finish. My computer should work fine, I've not installed Mavericks yet, and the last time I used Mavericks was about a year ago, and I've got quite accustomed to the way things work with that, and even if Windows has some good things, I think that Mavericks is better in general. If you guys can help, I thank you in advance, and wish you luck. If there is anything else you need to know, I can answer. Thanks
  12. Hello guys, Im new here. The main purpose i post a thread here is to know if my laptop is compatible with hackintosh So here the spec : - CPU ( Intel Core i7 3630QM IvyBridge 2,4 Ghz) - Graphic Card by exact name (nVidia GeForce GT750M) - MotherBoard Chipset (Intel HM76) - Wlan (Atheros AR9485) - Ethernet (Didnt use Ethernet) - Audio Card (Realtek High Definition Audio ) Before we proceed even further, I need to tell you that this laptop does have intel gpu which is intel5000hd but it cant be used. So basically, it always run on the gpu, GT750M 100% even on windows. So you cant totally use the iGPU. What OS X is suitable for my laptop? Thx a lot PS: I will use MBR Legacy, didnt use UEFI
  13. ***** If you are having problems after installation, this has a lot of information: ***** UPDATE QUESTION: when I install from DVD it takes about 20 minutes and then the screen goes grey and the computer restarts. Is this the way it should be? Hi. I have installed Niresh Mountain Lion 10.8.5 on a separate hard drive in an existing Win 7 computer. To be clear, I have one drive for win7, one for storage and now one for OSX. (I refer to Niresh Mountain Lion 10.8.5 as OSX here) I have NOT installed a correct bootloader. I installed OSX on the separate hardrive connected via SATA. I can choose to boot direct from this drive through my UEFI BIOS interface. Or to use boot flags I use the DVD to choose the boot from the hard disk. OSX begins to boot but hangs.Note that I am happy with leaving the boot situation alone. When i want to have a go with OSX I can choose boot from the hard disk easily. I do not have access to camera at the moment. I have tried the following: 1) reinstalled using burned DVD of Niresh iso. 2) the various "flags": -x -v -GraphicsEnabler = No 3)Setting my BIOS settings to UEFI defaults then disabling anything "fancy" eg. - VT-d technology under the north bridge options. Here is the manual for my motherboard: the following errors occur during the boot: 1)device hubdrive @0x1d100000 overcurrent condition port will be disabled (occurs several times) 2) OSX hangs upon reaching the following line as shown by -x-v boot (lines leading up tp this are below in qoutes); Bluetooth -yaddayaddayadda-Start completed "SMC::smcInitHelper ERROR:MMIO regMap == NUll - fall back to old SMC mode ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - wait for Service (resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUManagement) timed out DMOS has arrived [iOBluetoothHCIController][start] -- completed" **Update** Following advice from i have disabled Vt-d but my monitor is vga only. So I think i need to install vga support for HD3000. From here maybe; However I can't figure out how to do this. ** I am trying to edit the kxt's but when booting with -s typing into command line keeps being interrupted by USB warning about "device hubdrive @0x1d100000 overcurrent condition". So I am parking this project. Will probably try again when I have access to a Mac and not use distro. I have tried the AppleIntelCPU* removal via terminal, no impact I have tried replacing the FakeSMC via terminal, no impact. I have tried reinstalling with different options in customise, but none had an impact. I tried changing NullCpu.. to Disabler, and others, but no effect.
  14. Hello, I don't seem to have any kind of success getting this to work and I've spend hours and hours on forums and blogs. At this point any piece of advice would be helpful. I'm trying to install the latest Niresh release on my laptop. Here is the configuration: Laptop ASUS N750JV-T4042D Processor: Intel Core i7-4700HQ, Haswell/ID8C49, 2,4 GHz, 3,4 GHz Turbo Motherboard Chipset: Mobile Intel HM86 Chipset Graphics (GPU): NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M, 4GB DDR3-1600 Network Devices: Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 a/b/g/n 2x2 RAM: 8GB DDR 3, 1600 MHz Sound: SonicMaster, Bang & Olufsen ICEpower 2.1 HDD: 1TB, 5400 rpm Others:Bluetooth 4.0, card reader, webcam I've checked online and my laptop is supposed to work with OS X Mavericks but now I'm not so sure. Is this compatible? I'm using the ISO version on a DVD and after I get to the boot screen and use -v to continue I get the following screens (first s1 then s2) and then it just restarts and that's it. It keeps doing that every time. (This happens before the installation)
  15. Hi guys, I downloaded Niresh's image and wrote it to USB. After I installed Mavericks it says I have to reboot. After rebooting I get a Kernel Panic. I decide to reboot and I get stuck at a white screen with a Apple Logo and after 1 minute a stop sign or something like this appears. I tried to boot with flags but it didn't work. Even -f, -f or -x flags didn't work. SETUP: INTEL i7-4770K GIGABYTE Z87-D3HP NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 770 G.SKILL ARES 1600MHz 16GB RAM Hope you can help me. Greetings c00kie
