  1. Hi guys in the community. After a while, using successfully my hackintosh (Niresh Yosmite version), I had a dumb idea to update my chameleon bootloader. "Can not find mach_kernel" problem came up! I read many forum "solutions" - but did not work. I hope that NIRESH sees this and maybe he can solve my problem in a minute :-) Is it maybe possible to put the INSTALLATION USB (generated from NIRESH) and repair it from there without to lose everything and start from zero? Thank you
  2. Instal USB won't find kernel

Instal USB won't find kernel Hi. I am stuck with my PC and can't load the installation program of Yosemite. After I managed to build my own InstallESD on a USB stick, I tried Chameleon, Clover and Chimera but failed. None of the bootloaders found the kernel and therefore won't load. Chimera 4.1.0 at least says "Loading Darwin 10.10.5 Kernel Cache ignored. Loading kernel /System/Library/Kernels/kernel Can't find /System/Library/Kernels/kernel" Any suggestions? 4. Can't find mach_kernel!

I cannot seem to find my mach_kernel in my root directory. Every time I try to replace it with a different kernel, I get a prompt telling me that it is invisible. I tried running this command: sudo chflags hidden /mach_kernel, but it still did not work for me. I am trying to replace the mach_kernel with a better optimized AMD kernel.
