Is there a Niresh Sierra 10.12.4 (or higher) out there? USB trouble after updatwe, cause of GTX1080Ti Hello! Yesterday I got a GTX1080Ti and of course I want to use it with Niresh Sierra on a HP Z800. I thought cool, cause the Z800 is that close to a Macpro 5.1 that it is possible just to use Chameleon instead of clover. Well that worked perfect, so far - but there is the fight with the Nividia webdriver, cause for Pascal it needs - at least 10.12.4 or higher. The pretty cool "Niresh Sierra / macOS Sierra 10.12.3 Installer by Hackintosh Zone" is based on version 10.12.3. So i thought, no trouble give it an update - moveing to 10.12.6 via MAC update. hmmm and now it happend.... the whole USB-Thing is dying at booting, so no chance to log in - cause no mouse or keyboard is working .... grml... i had a search and found a blog, where is written that i should delete the AppleHPET.kext ..... but how without any access? Not so good... so i had a look for a different Version... but with that i had to use clover.... You get the image? Do you have please an advise for me? Cheers!
neverwannaknow posted a question in Hackintosh SierraWhat smbios to choose for skylake and pascal graphics card Hi, quick question from me, I recently started getting back to hackintoshing as Nvidia made pascal graphic drivers public so I could finally use my GTX1060 in a hackintosh. (My R9-270X died in the european heatwave of last year...) For the sysdef I chose iMac14,2 as it was automatically selected and worked out of the box for me, (iMac 17,1 ((I believe, could be 17,2)) is based on Skylake, so here comes my question) Should I choose iMac 17,1 should I stick to 14,2 or should I go for something completely diffrent. The problem for me comes when I pull the system from sleep, when I do the graphics gets really slow and buggy (almost as if it defaults to the macOS standard drivers). Any advice? !!!The system sleeps well and everything but the graphics work when pulled from sleep!!! System specs: Gigabyte H110M-s2h DDR3 I5-6400 -> ACPI patched 12GB DDR3 1600Mhz GTX1060 armor from MSI -> Nvidia Web Drivers some TP-Link wifi adapter -> ToledaARPTEnabler.kext Thanks in advance Another question, should I make a post explaining how to install MacOS on this hardware?
