  1. Hi, i tried to install high sierra on my hp computer, i created the partition on windows, i copied the sata-100-unssuported.kext to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other but my intel SSD does not show up at the disk utility at all, my bios does not have options to change sata to ahci or any other option, and i read something about mbr patch which i dowloaded but there is no guide on what to do with it, any help would be really appreciated. Thanks
  2. Hi everyone! My pc specs are these: Dell Optiplex 3010 mobo: Dell 042P49 cpu: i3-3240 gpu: hd2500 (will be added a new gt710 next week) So, I've installed from usb after setting up (I hope correctly) the bios (legacy, uefi doesn't work properly I think) and, even if I've restarted after waiting so long when it said "less than a minute remaining", I can boot just fine into Sierra in my SSD ("Hackintosh") selecting, when I start/restart the pc, boot from Hackintosh. Everything works fine except graphics (I know hd2500 is not supported so I just bought an used gt710 that will arrive next week), audio (it worked 2 times after setting with clover configurator, then it stopped) and ethernet (I think it's faulty, anyway I've a wifi dongle that works fine). BUT if the usb created with restoreSierra is not connected I can see Clover bootloader but I can't see my SSD "Hackintosh" which is the drive Sierra is installed in. I'm pretty sure something in post installation (Clover configurator -> Boot section) is missing, these are the steps I made after the automatic initial setup: Mount EFI partition of SSD (since is not mounted by default) Install Multibeast in order to install Clover Legacy and fix audio (but it doesn't work anymore, IDKW) Copy EFI folder from HZ usb Delete EFI folder from EFI partition of SSD Paste EFI folder from HZ to EFI partition of SSD When I restart the pc w/o usb plugged I can't see the SSD, the space over the rounded icons is empty except from BOOT from EFI (and if select it it reload the same thing). I hope someone could help me, this is my first step in hackintosh world Have a nice day

  6. Succes on i3 4170

Hi guys! First, sorry for my english. I wanna tell you my experience on build my Hackintosh with the following specs: Niresh OS X Mavericks 10.9.0 (you can find it in "Downloads") Processor: Intel i3 4170 3.7Ghz LGA 1150 Mother: Gigabyte H81M-H rev 2.1 RAM: 8GB DDR3 Kingston Hyper X 1866Mhz GPU: MSI Geforce GT610 1GB DDR3 DISK DRIVES: Kingston Hyper X 120GB SSD + Seagate 500gb HDD This config goes like a charm. I only need to install two kext's, for Audio and ethernet. For Audio I use the ALC887 - Currently that comes with Multibeast, and for ethernet I use the Realtek RTL8111 kext. That's it! Everything works fine until now that I am writing this. System boot correctly without USB. Thank you for your time, and, I am here for what you wanna ask me. Bye!
  7. SSD Not Detected

I am working on installing 10.10.1 on my system, I am using a Gigabyte ga-fx990-ud3, pny 240GB ssd, Sandisk 120GB ssd, and a 750GB HDD, and a PNY 120GB USB3 usb for install disk. I have determine the right combination of kernel and flags to boot the installer, but when I open Disk Utility, the Sandisk SSD is not detected, but everything else is. I have set both of my onboard SATA controllers to AHCI, borking my win 10 install, but the second SSD is still not found by Disk Util. All drives were detected by windows, before changing BIOS settings. Is anyone able to help. The board does not have any clear indication as to which SATA port is which, all ports are the same color, and grouped together.

  9. Cloning HDD to SDD

I just wanted to know how to change the preffered drive to boot from in the niresh options. Like where you enter the bootflags, well the primary drive that gets booted from is the drive that the boot file is on, but I have cloned my HDD to an SSD and then installed my bootloader on that SSD, and in that niresh startup menu, when I select the SSD, it DOES boot, but I want it to be where I do not have to go and select that SSD, any thoughts? THANKS! P.S. this is my first post, so I hope I explained myself clearly enough
  10. Hi, I was able to install HZ 10.10.1 on my system: MSI z97 guard pro, i5, evga graphics card. I want to re-install on an SSD (OCZ) for speed. However, installation USB fails (kernel panic) when USB is booting. I ordered a crucial SSD, and when the USB boots, the system restarts after 2 seconds on the hackintosh zone splash screen. I tried -v to get the error message but it's too fast for me to catch. Does anyone know what's wrong? I googled but could not find a solution. The SSD is recognized in BIOS and has AHCI setting. Thank you!

  12. I got Yosemite Zone working perfectly for a few days, I decided to take it with my to school in my bag, opened it up half way through the day and it was still working perfectly, when I got home all I see is a black screen with a flashing white line in the top left. I've tried disconnecting my hardrives, my ram with no success, and in each scenario I've tried both F2 and F12 with no response. HELP! I'm kinda freaking out.
  13. Hi. I installed niresh distro on dell e5420 on external drive (hdd). Then I've upgraded drive to Crucial mx100 ssd. Cloned drive, maked fresh install, nothing works. First I got Bot0 error - i managed with that. Now. I can boot to os x through other usb - install or old hdd (use other bootloader I think), but if I boot from ssd - stuck at apple logo. Got chameleon 2.2 r2391. Boot hangs after AppleKeyStore line. So i can use older drive to ignite bootloader and then mavericks can start from ssd. Anyone got idea how to boot from ssd ?
  14. thinking of buying an ssd for niresh mavericks , my choices are samsung evo 840 120 GB SanDisk SDSSDP-128G-G25 128GB SSD would any one confirm compatibilty with niresh mavericks?
  15. My cpu is about to 2,52 ghz core 2 duo. In about this mac menu, my cpu was 2.52ghz. After the installation of 240gb ssd, mac displays its cpu is 4.3 ghz. is this because of turbo boost or something or just fake? and the system report says this:
  16. Migrating to SSD with current installation

Hi! I've installed Niresh 10.9.0 and it works great. But I bought SSD disk for my laptop and I want to replace my HDD with it. And I want to keep my current installation of OS X. There are many partitions on my HDD, and Mac system is only one of them. I use flash drive to boot. So how can I move Mac partition to SSD and make it bootable with the same flash drive? I assume I need to make an image of system partition with Disk Utility and burn it to SSD. But would it be enough? Would you be so kind to give me some suggestions please?
