  1. I need help desperately. My hackintosh updated automatically without my permission and it totally fucked everything up. Final Cut Pro now says "This graphics configuration does not support hardware acceleration, which is required to run Final Cut Pro.", Logic is so glitchy it's unusable, and the whole computer in general is now glitchy and laggy. I was either running El Capitan or the older version of Sierra prior. I don't even remember tbh. But everything ran smooth as a baby's butt prior to the update. I am computer stupid and have no idea whatsoever how to fix this. My computer savvy friend built this hackintosh for me, but he is super busy and won't have time for a while to help me out and I need it for work asap. Someone please help me. I'm begging you.
  2. DENY MACH-LOOKUP SANDBOX Errors after Sierra Update I was using Niresh Yosemite for a while, then i installed the Sierra update from appStore. Now my boot loader keeps locking up in a loading screen. When i try verbose, i get a loop of errors about Denied Permission on loading new kexts. i did try teh solutions from this link: https://www.hackintosh.computer/89/sandbox-error-niresh-yosemite/ but when i try any of these commands sudo sed -i.bak 's/1.2/1.3/g' /usr/standalone/bootcaches.plist sudo sed -i.bak 's/lzss/lzvn/g' /usr/standalone/bootcaches.plist the terminal cant locate the 's/1.2/1.3/g' or the 's/lzss/lzvn/g' directories It's probably because the solution is focused on Yosemite directories. Is there any way to repair the kexts permissions, or adapt this fix on the Sierra? thanks in advance
  3. [Guide] Yosemite update to 10.10.5

[Guide] Yosemite update to 10.10.5 This post is a follow-up to my previous guide on installing Yosemite 10.10.0 (Yosemite Zone) on a late-2015 build that you can view here. Now we will be updating from 10.10.0 to 10.10.5. You will have to do the update through the App Store and then reboot the system when prompted. Once the update finishes, the Nvidia Web Drivers will be in need of updating and you will not be able to reboot into the system without the following bootflags: -v nv_disable=1 GraphicsEnabler=No Once you've done that, you'll now want to update the Nvidia Web Drivers to meet the version necessary for 10.10.5. Then update once you're prompted after the Nvidia installation. This time you don't even have to bother with any bootflags and you should have a functioning 10.10.5 hackintosh. Proof
  4. Updating to 10.9.5 - System Reboots at Niresh Installer Drive I've been trying to update my system running Mavericks 10.9 by the help of this guide : I've copied the Mavericks Kernel and the Extensions folder in terminal, and I've run the OSX 10.9.5 installer, like the guide says. but when I try to boot into the installer from my Niresh Mavericks installer USB with boot flags xpcm-free, , the system just reboots, (I also tried the bootflag GraphicsEnabler=Yes) My Original Mavericks Drive doesn't boot either because of the update of course, but it does get as far as the Chameleon loader and then the system reboots, if I leave it, it just reboots again and again in a cycle. I tried making the Niresh USB drive again but also no luck, I looked for 'Execute Disable Bit' settings in my BIOS to see if that would change anything, but I don't have these settings available in my BIOS can anyone help me with this? Thanks Specs: ASUS M5A87 MoBo AMD Phenom II x4 CPU Nvidia GTS 450 GPU
  5. Question: How do I update from Yosemite Zone to macOS Sierra? Dear forum, My question is about Yosemite Zone. It works perfectly now but I want to update to Sierra to run some apple apps. Thanks for help! Laurent
  6. Hello! I have Mac OS X 10.10 (niresh release) on my ASUS K53SV laptop and i want to update it to El Capitan via App Store. It works? Or i need to download other files to get it working? I read on another forum that I can make it working by copying all kext's from version 10.10 to 10.11 through Clover bootloader. Niresh version of mac have this capability?

  8. Hi guys, Since this morning i updated my hackintosh to 10.10.5, and now my machine isn't booting anymore. As soon as i press enter on my OSX disk in Chimera, my system reboots. Anyone any idea? Or shouldn't have updated my machine..:S AMD FX6350 GTX 670 8GB RAM Chimera : npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=No USBBusfix=Yes Thanks for help ;-)
  9. Hi, guys! I installed the Niresh12495-OSX-10.8-USB version into my Toshiba Satellite C855-S5214. This laptop originally comes with an Intel B970 processor, but I changed it to a Pentium 2030M for virtualization support (VT-x) and upgraded to 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz RAM. I also changed out the half pci-e wifi to an Atheros AR9280 for native OS X support and added an iOmega Bluetooth 4.0 USB dongle, which is also natively supported so long as EHCI loads properly. Now that i stated all the mods, I guess I can now ask: How can I properly update to 10.8.5 without failing the update installation? LOL I attached the installer log, so hopefully someone can help me figure out what I should do. I know that you may ask, "Why didn't you just use Niresh 10.8.5?" The reason I didn't, although I tried, is that the 10.8 version is automagically giving me 771 MB of VRAM under Intel HD Graphics (based on HD 2500) for this processor whereas the 10.8.5 distro is giving me a black screen or whatever else it may do and I have no idea where to begin to fix that. LOL I've been going on all this for about a week now. The SMBIOS for this 10.8 install was automatically generated as a MacPro3,1. So, outside of all that crap that I wrote, again I ask: How can I properly update to 10.8.5 without failing the update installation? Thanks for any and all assistance or suggestions you may give and sorry for all the writing. Just trying to be somewhat detailed. LOL Very respectfully, Ricky Installer Log 5-Oct-2015.txt smbios.plist org.chameleon.Boot.plist
  10. AMD Yosemite Update

Hello, I would ask help from you for I am with two problems. First, I install Yosemite 10.10.1 Niresh on my AMD Athlon II X2 270. The installation and after installation occur seamlessly, sound, internet, video everything ok. However when I try to open pictures, anything they get with pink stripes. It sucks, because I can not open any photo. The second problem comes when I try to solve the first. When I try to update my Yosemite to 10.10.3 or 10.10.4 the sound and the Internet no longer work. No matter how many times I reinstall the kexts, will not start at all. But the problem with pink stripes over. I managed to find kernel for any of the two versions of Yosemite, but it's no use to update and make no sound and internet. In short, I install 10.10.1 and everything works except the images that are bugs, I update and images look good, however the internet and sound to. My specs: Processor: AMD Athlon II X2 270, 3415 MHz Motherboard: ASRock N68-S3 FX 4GB memory Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS (VEN 10DE DEV 10C3) Audio: nVIDIA nForce 7025-630a - High Definition Audio Controller (VEN 1106 DEV 4397) Ethernet: nVIDIA nForce 7025-630a - LAN Controller (PHY Realtek RTL8201CL / CP) (VEN 10DE DEV 03EF) I use the Chameleon as Bootloader. my Boot.plist <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key><string>y</string><key>Graphics Mode</key><string>1024x768x32</string><key>GraphicsEnabler</key><string>y</string><key>Kernel Flags</key><string>npci=0x3000 debug=8 ahcidisk=1 dart=0</string><key>USBBusFix</key><string>y</string><key>Legacy Logo</key><string>Yes</string> If anyone can help me with either of the two problems, I appreciate it, not take it anymore reinstall Yosemite many unsuccessful attempts to solve it. Thank you Sorry for my English.
  11. Update Yosemite to 10.10.5 AMD

Hi, I am currently running 10.10.3 on my following machine. AMD FX8120 GA 970A-DS3 8GB DDR3 Gigabyte 7850 2GB The system is running well. Now i need update XCode to 6.4 as I work on iOS so I need to update system to 10.10.5. Can you guide me which kernel to use and what all kexts are required and where to get them. Thanks a lot.
  12. Hello guyz, after a lot of research and uncountable tries with various kernels and kext files, i had successfully installed OSX 10.10.3 on my AMD FX 8350. I would like to help every AMD FX users on how to install 10.10.3 on their System and enable GFX acceleration on nvidia cards. Prerequisites: Download the 10.10.3 Combo update file from the link below. https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1804?locale=en_US Installation Instructions: Step 1: Install Yosemite Zone 10.10.1 with /amd1 bootflag OR Install 10.10.1 with Unibeast drive using amd kernel Step 2: Download the .rar file from the link below and extract it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2tOEfugYcrnTTVtRDNISjBKV2s/view?usp=sharing Step 3: In the rar file you will get a file as "kern" without quotes. Its the kernel file. Copy/paste the file on the root of you hackintosh drive. Also copy/paste two other kext files named as AppleACPIPlatform.kext and IOPCIFamily.kext on the root of your hackintosh or downloads folder of your hackintosh as we will need these two files later. Also Copy/paste the Web driver which i had also given on the rar file. Step 4: Now its time to install the 10.10.3 combo update file which u had downloaded. Step 5: After installing the update file, dont restart your PC. First, you have to copy/paste the pthread.kext file on System/Library/Extensions. or you can use Kext Wizard to install the Kext. You will get the pthread.kext file on the rar file which u had downloaded. On the rar file, you will get a .zip file named as 10102-UPD-Patch-pthread.kext.zip. Extract that zip file and you will get pthread.kext. Step 6: After installing the kext, Fix permissions with Kext wizard and then restart your PC and let the update complete. Step 7: After updating the hackintosh to 10.10.3, its time to boot. So now we need that kernel file which we had pasted on the root directory of the hackintosh drive earlier. So, insert the Yosemite Zone Pendrive as because we need that drive to boot into our hackintosh drive as it has got chameleon installed. Step 8: After inserting the Yosemite Zone Pendrive, boot from the pendrive and select your hackintosh drive from the chameleon boot menu. And now use the following boot flags: /kern -v -x -f Step 9: Patience. It will take some time to boot and after successful boot, it will boot without hardware acceleration. Step 10: Now we need to install the two other kext which we had copied earlier. So fire up Kext Wizard and install those two kext AppleACPIPlatform.kext and IOPCIFamily.kext. After installing the kexts, fix permission using kext wizard. Step 11: install the nvidia web driver which you had copied earlier. After installing the driver, remember to use boot flag nvda_drv=1 on org.chameleon.boot.plist and also copy the kernel file "kern" without quotes to System/Library/kernels and run chameleon Wizard and on org.chameleon.boot. option, tick mark kernel option and on the text bar below type in "kern" without quotes. This will make the OSX boot with kern everytime and you dont need to enter /kern bootflag everytime. Step 12: Reboot your PC and on the Chameleon Boot menu, Choose your hackintosh drive and hit ENTER. ENJOY YOSEMITE 10.10.3 on AMD FX. My Specification: CPU: AMDFX 8350 GPU: NVIDIA GTX 760 RAM: 8GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE MOBO: ASUS M5A97 R2.0
  13. Help me please. after update 10.10 to 10.10.3 can't load display black screen load infinity I update os x at App Store and restart how to fix it
  14. Hello, Just curious, is there any word on an AMD kernel for the 10.10.3 update? I installed 10.10.1 Zone with /amd and cant seem to find a kernel yet other than: http://www.hackintoshosx.com/file/4510-amd-yosemite-10103-kernel-and-kexts/ Which from the comments I am not too confident about it. I am running an AMD FX-4150 Also can someone provide me some background on how to properly update the kernel without breaking my hackintosh now that I have it working good so far (minus sleep, icloud, imessage) Thanks! P.S. I would also really like to extend my gratitude to @Niresh THANK YOU!!!
  15. So I wanted to update my hackintosh running on the latest Yosemite Zone to 10.10.3. How can I do that without causing kernel panics and error? I currently have a HP Pavilion dv6 running smoothly Yosemite Zone 10.10.1 Intel Core i5 Intel/AMD graphics And when I had Niresh Mavericks installed i wanted to update it to 10.9.5 and found this link: https://www.hackintosh.zone/forums/topic/4391-msi-z87-g45-gaming-and-how-i-did-to-make-it-work-with-mac-os-x-and-update-it-to-1095/ This tutorial helped me successfully update Mavericks to 10.9.5 without errors or kenel panics, will it work if i do the same? Thanks in advance.
  16. Hi everyone I'm new in the forum and English isn't my first language But i'll try to be comprensible. A week ago I installed the niresh 10.9 rrelease on my notebook HP Pavilion DV7 4320el. I used the flags "HP" and "-v" and everything was perfect. Then i installed the right kext for my Intel HD Graphics and i was able to use graphics application like QuickTime (i unfortunatly failed in making my discrete ATI mobility radeon 6550m work because my BIOS doesn't let me turn off the Intel graphics) After all I was really satisfied of my work, But yesterday i decided to test FCP on my system the problem was that my standard 10.9 version wasn't able to male the app starting so I decided to updating to 10.9.5. I didn't find any official guide so i took the one i saw in a post that was for a gigabyte motherboard But the steps where simples: i had to copy kernel and estensions folder with terminal Then install the 10.9.5 combo update downloaded from Apple store(the web site not the app) and restare with the various bootflags and move the copied kext and kernel. i followed each step But when i restarted the screen went grey with some coloured lines; at first i thought it was the known graphics problem so i did the procedure in -s to load the vesa acceleration But it were grey again. After a bit a saw something moving and i understood that there was my mouse pointer. So the problem is this(excuse me for the poem i wrote) when i start the system Even if i use every flags i know it start and works but the screen is totally unusable, i recognised the finder window But it'S really hard to use, allo to describe when i will able to i'll post a photo
  17. Hello everyone, please excuse me if already that topic exists, I just really need help! I've made successful hackintosh on my pc: MB: Gigabyte P35-DS3R CPU: C2D E8400 GPU: Nvidia 9600GT 512MB Everything works fine, until i attempt to update it to 10.9.5 via App Store. After the updating is done, it gives me a kernel panic on boot. Can someone help me with this issue?
  18. Updating Niresh Mavericks from 10.9.0 to 10.9.5 These methods are tested and verified on my AMD Desktop (Asus M5A97, AMD FX 6100 & ATI Radeon HD 6850) and Dell Inspiron 15 3521 Laptop (3rd Gen i3, Intel HD 4000). Both systems now run on 10.9.5. You can download the Mavericks 10.9.5 Combo Update from this link : http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1760 If you simply run the updater it will remove all the customization done by the Niresh-Mavericks installer. So first, we need to make sure all our necessary files and kexts are backed up. Before we proceed, make sure you have the Niresh-Mavericks bootable USB or DVD. To be on the safe side, I would recommend creating a Time Machine backup, so that you can restore your working version if something goes wrong. Take a screenshot of Org.chameleon.Boot.plist tab of Chameleon Wizard, just in case if some settings has been disabled by the update. * Open Terminal from Applications and the login as root user by entering following command. sudo i Enter Password. * Next step is making a copy of the Mavericks kernel. To make it easier to understand I'm going to call my Mavericks installed partition as " MAVERICKS " Change " MAVERICKS " with name of your OSX partition when you enter the commands. cp /Volumes/MAVERICKS/mach_kernel /Volumes/MAVERICKS/mach_kernel_ok Please check the spaces after cp and between mach_kernel and /Volumes, it is very important. * Now we must make a copy of Extensions folder. cp R /Volumes/MAVERICKS/System/Library/Extensions /Volumes/MAVERICKS/System/Library/Extensions_ok Please check the spaces between cp & R & /Volumes and also between /Extensions & /Volumes Now that we have backed-up all our settings and kexts, its time to install the Mavericks 10.9.5 Combo Update. Run update package and the installer will take up to 10 minutes to install all new updates and it will reboot. Connect your bootable Mavericks USB or DVD and boot into the installer using these flags. xpcm-free -v You will be booted into the Install Screen. Select Continue, and click on Utilities in the toolbar and select Terminal. Run following commands to restore working kernel and extensions. * Here we rename the updated kernel. mv /Volumes/MAVERICKS/mach_kernel /Volumes/MAVERICKS/mach_kernel_bad * Now we are going to replace it with our working mach_kernel backup file. cp /Volumes/MAVERICKS/mach_kernel_ok /Volumes/MAVERICKS/mach_kernel * Now we are renaming the Extensions folder. mv /Volumes/MAVERICKS/System/Library/Extensions /Volumes/MAVERICKS/System/Library/Extensions_bad * Now we are going to replace it with our own copy of Extensions mv /Volumes/MAVERICKS/System/Library/Extensions_ok /Volumes/MAVERICKS/System/Library/Extensions Type exit, hit Enter and close the Terminal. Now remove USB/DVD and reboot the system. Now select your Mavericks installed partition and add the following boot flags if required. -x -v -f Enter your account password and login to your desktop. Open Kext Wizard from the Applications folder. Use it to Repair Permissions and Rebuild System Caches. It will take a while to complete. After it is done, open Chameleon Wizard and check whether any options has been unselected in Org.chameleon.Boot.plist tab. If some options and removed, check them again using the screenshot and save them.. From the first tab of Chameleon Wizard, select Built-In and Boot0hfs and click execute. (Installing the boot loader again may not be necessary, but I'm not taking any chances.) Now restart your Desktop/Laptop and if you are lucky and followed the steps exactly you will be booted into OSX Mavericks 10.9.5. Click the Apple Logo and select About This Mac to check whether the Update worked or not. Now you can remove the bad kernel and extensions folder, they are not needed anymore. [ Note : iOS Developers can use Xcode 6 with 10.9.3 Update, Yosemite is not required. And you can keep your copy of Xcode 5 as well, just rename it as Xcode 5.) Credits : soulskater (Its his guide, I simply made it a bit more easier to understand) Please point out if there are any errors in this Guide.

  21. Hello, This is my first topic here, so I hope it follows all the rules. I'm using an AMD FX 6300 with the /amd1 kernel. Notice: This guide is now obsolete, although it can be still useful if you wanna replace a kernel by hand. Download the new Yosemite here: https://www.hackintosh.zone/file/810-nireshs-yosemite-with-amd-intel-iso-usb/ A warning Before you proceed following this guide be warned that I am not responsible for any damages to you or your hackintosh installation. What you need A working hackingtosh installation Yosemite 10.10.1 Update package Installation disk (see this guide) The guide Copy your current kernel to "/Users/kernel". This can be done using the following command in Terminal (you have to enter your password when executing this command): sudo cp /System/Library/Kernels/kernel /Users/kernel Take note of your volume name (you can use Disk Utility for this). The name of my partition is "Yosemite" Download the Yosemite 10.10.1 Update package and open "OSXUpd10.10.1.pkg". Follow all the installation steps and finish the installation by pressing "Restart". Instead of booting from your hard drive, boot from the installation disk. Enter the correct startup options for your processor (for example /amd if you're using an AMD processor). After the setup started correctly, select your language and after that use "Utilities -> Terminal" to open the terminal. Copy the kernel you saved in /Users to your /System/Library/Kernels directory, you can use the following command for this: cp -f /Volumes/"Yosemite"/Users/kernel /Volumes/"Yosemite"/System/Library/Kernels/kernel Make sure to replace "Yosemite" with your volume name. After this run the following commands (still replacing "Yosemite" with your volume name): rm -rf /Volumes/"Yosemite"/System/Library/Caches kextcache -u /Volumes/"Yosemite" Restart your system, removing the installation disk. After you restarted, you have to follow a small wizard and after that you installed Yosemite 10.10.1! Hopefully this is useful for some of you, Mr. eXoDia
  22. hey , just wondering if anyone tried installing the 10.10.1 update yet, and if they ran into any issues; it doesn't look very necessary ,but i'm just curios. It would be nice to get rid of the update message, but I'm not interested in breaking my install. thanks
  23. I followed the Alienware tutorial here https://www.hackintosh.zone/forums/topic/3861-alienware-17-r5-tutorial/ Did everything to spec. The creator has the same laptop specs as me as well. My config: Alienware 17 i7 4800qm 780m GTX 16 GB Ram BCM43xx Wifi Killer e2200 Network Card It boots, but didn't have any sound and the 780m GTX cards fan was on high as soon as it started. I have installed all of the Kext files with kextwizard. Then I tried to update it using the bundled update 10.9.1...10.9.5.(this was after Niresh's files were done being modified by the system). When It called for a restart I restarted it and it restarts immediately. Then I tried -x -v. It wouldn't even try to work for me. It restarted so fast that i couldn't even see where it failed, but I'm assuming it's the kernel. SO what I did was reinstall and save the kernel and kexts. I updated and replaced my kernel and kexts and it restarts with no flags and will freeze at GeForceSensors (pci1): started. Nothing more happens and I let it sit there for a good 20-30 minutes. Then I removed all Geforce kexts. It freezes at Resetting IOCatalogue. I am at a loss. I need it updated at least to 10.9.3. Any ideas?
  24. Can some one share complete steps or video on updating to 10.9.2 i have a amd fx 8320 and a radeon hd 6770
  25. I updated 10.9 to 10.9.4 today. After installing update it started boot looping, it shows apple logo on boot and then restart immediately. I installed BootDiskUtility on USB: https://www.hackintosh.zone/file/119-bootdiskutility-v202014/ When i boot with BootDiskUtility, it boots correctly and everything is fine. I tried to install Clover, Chimera and Chameleon but clover shows only black screen and chameleon and chimera is boot looping. What to do? When i boot from BootDiskUtility USB, it boots correctly. My PC specs: Asrock Fatal1ty H87 Performance Intel Xeon E3 1231 V3 AMD Radeon R9 280 I needed to use xpcm-free flag on first install.
