  1. Mouse offset

hey so ive got an HP dv7, 64-bit, with an AMD A6-3400M Radeon and 8gb ram and I've installed mac os yosemite onto VMware Player 12. Everything went well but the mouse is offset. The distance varies on where the mouse pointer is, like if the mouse is in the middle of the screen then the mouse is off a little bit but anywhere left or right of the screen its pretty far off of where the pointer actually is. I've looked everywhere and I've seen people say to type this: editpreferencesinput "optimize mouse for games" = always, but no one is saying where. Plus i think this command would be for VMware Workstation. I had installed VMware Tools onto yosemite but that didn't do anything. I have also installed a beamoff tool so that the os isn't so slow. And i have unchecked the "override high dpi scaling behavior" box and that did nothing. I'd really appreciate the help, i have been stuck on this issue for days. Thanks
  2. having a problem with my VMware. Using El Capitan 10.11 on an Acer V15 i7-5500U, 8GB RAM. the machine boots up, after i enter my Apple ID it prompts for a verification code then proceeds to a page that says Sign in with your Apple ID, I Have clicked the continue button and nothing happens. I have left the VM running over night. Looking for a solution to this problem.
  3. AMD VMWARE Installation

AMD VMWARE Installation Can anyone detail how to install sierra using windows 10 and VMware workstation 12. I've followed many guides but every time I seem to get after the locker just either the apple symbol in the middle of the screen and no loader underneath. I understand that apple os is mainly unofficially supported on intel but is there any detailed instructions on how to get running if possible. My CPU is a amd fx-6300 6 core. Regards MK
  4. Yosemite don't find VMWare ethernet device I've installed Hackintosh Yosemite 10.10.1 in VMWare player 12. I don't know why, the ethernet device is not found, tried this solution: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArlR6wv85Bk but this didn't work. What more can I do?
  5. Install Yosemite using Vmware Hello All, First of all thanks to the developers and admin. I am trying to install Yosemite using VMware but got stuck on the select disk, see attached image, no disk showing. Please help, what I am doing wrong.
  6. Ok this has been quite annoying, I've managed to get the full install and boot working and was able to use the OS just fine the first time round so I know it definitely works. I stupidly didn't take a snapshot when I got it working then made a change which borked the system and I've had to rebuild. Now when I rebuild, it installs just fine, however now when I try to boot it gets past the hackintosh zone loading screen but now always dies with a grey screen and error symbol. I've deleted everything and rebuilt three times now with the same problem. I've attached a screenshot of the error. I've read other people saying to start in verbose mode (-v) and view the error log, however I've no idea where I'm meant to type -v or view the log as it just boots straight into the hackintosh screen.
  7. Hi guys! I'm trying to install Yosemite on a VMWare Virtual Machine with the Yosemite-Zone.iso disc image. I have VMware player on Windows 8.1 Host, and I installed the Unlocker 2.0.2. When I created the virtual machine, I choose: 4096 MB of RAM (I have 6 GB on my laptop), 2-core processor, Apple Mac OS X 10.10 as guest operating system, a single-file stored 40 GB hard drive and obviously the iSO file. But when I boot the VM, it stucks like in the attached picture. How can I resolve? Thank you!!
  8. cannot boot up machine

I'm a newbie and very stuck getting installed - i would really appreciate some help. The PC I am using has an AMD Athlon II X4 630 Processor - 2.80 GHz. with 6GB RAM. The Display Adapter is NVIDIA GeForce 9100 The OS is Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit. I tried following the instruction post and the video instructions for installing on AMD machine, and failed miserably. I was unable to get the computer to boot from the USB, with either the .dmg or the .iso file on it (put on the USB flash drive by means of Win32DiskImager, per the instructions text and video). So I set up a VM using VMware Player version 6.0.6 build-2700073. (I am not sure if this is the right version to use - it was recommended by a comp sci lecturer). I set up a VM using the Yosemite .iso file. In the initial install i used an amd64 bootflag. The VM opens to the Hackintosh splash page, and never gets further. The VM settings are: 4GB Memory 1 Processor 8GB Hard Disk (IDE) CD/DVD (IDE) - using the Yosemite .iso file Network Adapter NAT Sound Card - Auto Detect Display - Autodetect The OS shows as Other-64-bit Please help. My goal is to get a machine going that i can use to load XCode for some coding. If anyone seeing this has any ideas of what i am doing wrong, and what I should do instead, please let me know.

  13. I have been playing about with installing Yosemite using the Zone (10.10.1) installation ISO on various VMs over the past few days (VirtualBox and VMWare player 6 successfully). Today I installed VMWare player 7 and ran Unlocker 2.0.3. Created a VM, selecting 10.10 as the OS. When I tried to boot the installation disc, I got about 50% of the way through the progress bar when it froze. I restarted the installer in verbose mode and it freezes on "Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport!". now I know that this is likely a graphics issue, and that if it was happening on booting the OS when installed it can be resolved by booting in single user mode and removing some files. How can I fix it when running the installer? I haven't posted my system specs as I am running in a VM, but if they are still relevant, let me know and I'll update the post. Edit: I have tried booting the installer in safe mode, but I get a kernel panic early on ("Process 1 exec of /sbin/launchd failed, errno 2" I have also tried (from reading various topics): SkipIntelGfx=Yes GraphicsEnabler=No Edit 2: Attached is what I see when it freezes in verbose mode.
  14. AMD OSX Yosemite Install

Hello, I may be missing something but this post suggests that I can install OS X Yosemite on my AMD Based HP Envy M6 - 1302sa. I was wondering if anyone can explain 2 things to me. Is it possible to use the Yosemite Zone file after I restore it to install Yosemite on Windows 8 on VMWare Workstation? And Is it possible to partition my hard drive and dual boot into a different partition where OS X would be installed? My laptop is a HP CPU: AMD Quad-Core A10-5750M APU Graphics: Radeon HD 8650G RAM: 4 GB DDR3 Chipset: AMD A70M FCH
  15. Hi everyone, I have set up Niresh's Mavericks 10.9.0 on my VMware Workstation 10 and set the network settings to "NAT" in the machine settings, however what do I need to put in these boxes for it to work with my internet connection? Thanks!
  16. [SOLVED]Install issues - mavericks

Good evening everyone! First of all, sorry for my bad English, i am Hungarian. I installed Mavericks 10.9 in VMware yesterday on my PC without any issues but after the installation i had no Ethernet connection. (At the start of the install i chose "Connect to the internet" but after clicking "Next" it just went back to the start, so thereafter i chose "Im not connecting to the internet" and continued installing) So today I'm trying to install it again but now i can't erase the virtual driver (or something like that) to install the OS X on it. The disk1 I have is about 2 GB and it has the os x installer on it. It should be a disk0 or a 120GB VMware virtual disk, I think. My system specs: Processor: AMD FX 8320 3.5Ghz Motherboard: ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 RAM: 8 GB Videocard: Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB dual fan no OC OS: Windows 7 64bit Thanks for the help! Here is a picture about it: [sOLVED] Just change the disk format to IDE from SCSI in vmware.
  17. How To Set Up Network

Hello I have got OS X Mavericks installed and I have managed to change the resolution to 1920x1080, I am struggling to get the internet to work on it, I am running this on VMWare Workstation 10 with AMD processor. Here is the information about the network card in my actual PC. Any help is welcome, thank you! Model Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller Name [SIW] Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. 18. Hey guys so this is my first post, I apologize if I leave something out or this has been answered, but I cant seem to find it. So I have been trying to get os x 10.9.4 or later installed on my PC. Specs Windows 7 SP1 X64 AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.8 GHz Gigabyte GA-880GMA-UD2H DDR3 4GB Ram ATI Radeon HD 4250 AMD High Definition Audio Device I installed VMware Workstation 10 and used the Unlocker 1.3. Added the VM for OS X 10.9, Removed the "firmware = efi" when I attempt to boot using the .vmx IDE torrent "os x mavericks 10 9 retail vmware image" I get to Loading Darwin/X86 screen and it just keeps spooling. I don't know how to get past that screen and get to the installation. I installed Virtualbox 4.3.12 and used the Niresh ISO. I finally got OS X installed using the amd64 flag and added the graphics for 1080p. It runs pretty slow in Virtualbox but at least it boots. When I try to upgrade to 10.9.5 uding the app store, the purpose of having OS X is to use Xcode which needs 10.9.4+, it boots to the Guru Meditation error. I am really lost here and have been reading forums and install guides for the past week. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for everything so far guys. P.S what is the fasting more stable software to use VMware or Virtualbox? Can I install OS X 10.9.5 on either one using AMD?
  19. So I'm using vmware to install niresh mavericks. I created a virtual machine and managed to run the osx installer then it rebooted and went to the apple logo the circle spins slowly and then a circle appears with a line through. I'm using an amd Athlon ii x4 750k on windows 8.1 pro 32bit
  20. Hi guys! My problem is as follows: When I updated Mavericks to 10.9.3 using the combo update, I replaced the kernel with this one. I also installed the three kexts that were included using Kext Wizard. After that, I refreshed caches, fixed permissions and then rebooted. The installation went fine, and OS X 10.9.3 booted up. However, when I rebooted OS X another time, it wouldn't boot anymore. Not at all. I've tried all the boot flags you could imagine, but it still doesn't work... If I boot it without any flags, the processor is turned off almost immediately. So I started all over again with a new virtual machine, and this time I fixed permissions etc. again after the 10.9.3 update, but it still didn't work anymore after a reboot. Does anyone have any tips for me? I don't even know how it is possible that the system only boots up successfully once, and then just dies on the second reboot. Thanks in advance! BTW: Processor is AMD FX 8350, my Graphics Card is a GeForce GTX 770, if that matters.

I tried booting up with -v -x boot flags and got stuck at a blacks creen. then i tried amd, amd64 along with -v -x boot flags and landed up at the following screen. Please help me in installation. 23. So I went ahead and installed Niresh OS X Mavericks 10.9 on VMWare Workstation 10 without an issue. The mouse worked throughout the entire setup. Whenever I boot up and get to the login screen, my mouse jumps everywhere on the screen! The keyboard works fine, but nothing I do fixes the mouse. This makes it impossible to do anything. I also noticed the mouse seems to be permanently "grabbing" items as if the left-mouse button is always being held. So moving the mouse forces it to start dragging and opening random items. I have used the USBBusFix=Yes flag. I tried reinstalling without installing the Laptop kext option. I even turned on Mouse Keys on Windows. None of this works. I can't do anything in OS X because I can't get to anywhere... I heard that certain mouses work, others do not. I only have 2-3 to test, but I have not yet done that. I am using Windows 7 x64 with an AMD CPU, 32GB DDR3 RAM, NVIDIA GTX 680 SC, and loads of TB worth of storage. Thank you.
  24. Erratic mouse in VMWare Workstation

Hi everyone, I installed OS X Mavericks in VMWare Workstation 10.0.2. The installation went just as it should and during the setup process, the mouse was moving just fine. After the installation, after a restart the cursor movement didn't correspond to the mouse movement at all. It randomly jumps over the screen in unpredictable patterns and it seems to continuously left-click. I tried reinstalling VMWare and also Mavericks several times. I am using a USB mouse with no extra features for gaming. Just a standard office mouse. My system: -Windows 8.1 -AMD FX 4170 Processor @ 4.2GHz -AMD Radeon HD 7770 Graphics Card -8GB RAM (3 allocated to virtual machine) -ASRock MB (FX990 Chipset) I have also tried an installation with GraphicsEnabler=Yes checked and unchecked in the setup window. Thanks for your help in advance!
  25. Hi Niresh Forums, Background I have successfully installed Niresh 10.9.0 Mavericks on my Intel Samsung Notebook (specs below). I installed the OS on my 150GB external HDD and can successfully boot from it using plop boot iso (google it). However, as my laptop uses an Atheros 9485 card (wireless card), which does not seem to have any kexts that work, I am trying to run the OS in VMWare workstation on Windows 7 so I can use the internet. The OS boots successfully and shows the login screen. The Problem After the OS boots successfully on VMWare, when I move my mouse, it jumps around very erratically, making it almost impossible to use the machine... This problem does not occur when I boot my laptop from the HDD itself! Is there any way I can fix this in VMWare so the mouse behaves normally? Boot Flags -v (to check for errors) GraphicsEnabler=Yes (I get a pci error if I do not put this flag) "Graphics Mode"="1366x768x32" (so the mac fits my screen resolution) USBBusFix=Yes Laptop Specs Internal HDD 750GB (Windows 7 with VMWare workstation) External USB HDD 150GB (Niresh Mavericks 10.9) Intel HD 4000 Graphics Intel i5-3210M - 2.50GHz (max 3.0GHz) Ram: Samsung 1600MHz DDR3 4GB + Samsung 1600MHz DDR3 2GB (both the same) Logitech Wireless mouse PS/2 Trackpad Built in laptop keyboard and screen... I hope you can help! Thanks much Rodit EDIT: Here is a video I found on youtube of somebody with the same problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiRennXWAvE&feature=youtu.be EDIT #2: The mouse always seems to be clicking so when I do happen to be able to hover over something, it will click it automatically???
