devxpyspam posted a question in OS X Mavericks 10.9While following this guide, I noticed that you have to set a custom kernel, xpcm-free for Haswell processor. I used the same for installation and it installed fine. But how do I set this kernel for my installed Mac os? I looked back in the 'customize' section of the installer and there is not such entry. (P.S. I left all the customisation untouched) To be specific, I am facing the 'DSMOS has arrived" error, from here and I suspect that it is because of that custom kernel and not because of the issues mentioned in the aforementioned article. Please correct my if I'm wrong. ThinkPad 540p I5-4300M Intel HD-4600 Please tell if I have slipped any useful information. Thanks
