  1. Hi guys, managed to make a hackintosh and everything is going great (Wifi, cpu ECT) But it's pretty damn slow, i tried one of my favorite lightweight games to test (The Ultimate Doom) and it could barely run THAT! This is my first time and i have no idea how to get my 8570 to work.. Probably should have read a bit, eh? Lol. And no I don't plan on using my hackintosh for gaming, but god so slow.. Thanks, help would be very appreciated. Edit: It's the dedicated version btw, and in about my mac I see "Graphics Display 3 MB" maybe the issue?

But i can see in about my mac that the ram use 667MHz when my ram can 1600MHz. This is the first question. The second is that i can see too my hackintosh use too much ram, without run apps use 4gb and using apps 8 gb i will add a screen capture, but is so strange that the system dont slow and the ram up to 7,6 gb only with chrome. My system specs is: AMD Fx-8350 1Tb HDD 8 GB Ram 1600MHz Nvidia GeForce GTX 660Ti I do all drivers works properly like the usb wifi, nvidia etc... what solution can recommend me for the ram "problem"? downgrade to maverick? what can i do? Should be use the nvidia webdrivers? I will use my computer for games like CSGO, and about all video editing and photo editing. Other question.. i got problem with the restart... when i use the restart the screen turn in black and dont restart take a lot of time for restart im worried with this topics because i dont know if other guys got it The Ram uses can see here: And sorry for my bad english

The hackintosh works fluid but the sound and network and graphic driver does not work... I fixed the network issue ussing a TP-LINK modem but the screen and the sound does not work. 4. Yosemite Zone, Finder Crashes Hi, I'm having major difficulties with my Yosemite Zone installation - I get crashes from Finder very frequently - basically any time a "save as" or "export" or "open" window is open for longer than about 3 seconds, allowing me just enough time to save something as the default name before it crashes, and only allowing me to use drag and drop to open things in the browser etc. The Finder explorer app itself seems quite stable, but not the dialogue windows. The result is that the program will close unexpectedly. I wondered if anyone could help with this as its a long-running issue. I'd been away from home for a few weeks so hadn't used the Hackintosh for maybe 2 months, and when I returned it was bug free for about two or three days before returning to the problem. So I wonder if there is a caching issue or something, but really I'm not sure what it could be. Build: MA770T-UD3P mobo, AMD Athlon II X4 620 CPU, Nvidia GT210 GPU, Installation on an HDD. Thanks, Dominic

But, when i install Sierra Zone the screen is very "lagish", it lags a lot and the glass effect aint working Whats the difference between Yosemite and Sierra Zone that makes this happen? 14. How Do I Get iCloud Working in Yosemite Zone? Hello! I recently installed Yosemite Zone and iCloud, FaceTime, iMessage, and Google Chrome and none of them work, each saying my computer isn't validated. I have tried many things including the one with EFI Studio and deleting stuff to messing around in Chameleon and none of it seems to work. The App Store and it's sister apps work just fine, though. Does anyone know how to get all this working, as they are things I'd like to use. Specs: AMD Phenom II x4 B55 3.3 GHz 8 GB DDR3 NVidia GeForce GTX 750 MSI 890GXM-G65 Yosemite Zone 10.10.1

  20. Bug in graphics

Hello. First of all I want to say thanks to everyone here. You guys are AWSOME, Niresh in special. I spend the last week installing yosemite 10.10.1 in my computer, here are the speecs: -AMD antlon x4 640 @ 3.0Ghz. -Nvidia gtx 960 MSI. -Asrock motherboard. m3a770de ( Realtek RTL8111DL). -DDR3 8 GB ram, Ripjaws. Here are the boot flags that I used for install: -/amd1 -v npci=0x2000 I had to use nv_disabler=1 the first time for boot the system in safe mode. I have problems with the graphics. It looks like it works great everything but some icons are bugged. I am using Nvidia Web Driver: 343.02.01f01(Up to date). Default driver was not working. The first thing that i tried to do was open Safari. Text pages are fine but when I open another with videos it does not work. Here is a pic of the error: I also tried with another web browsers like Chrome. When I open Chrome it looks like this : In this step i tried to use Firefox. In firefox youtube firefox works just fine but facebook is not working. The good news are that facebook works great on chrome. I dont understand this, for me makes no sense. I also found another graphical bugs like this ones in skype: Here are another visual problems too: While I was reading this post I saw that the imager were too big. I am using a 1080p monitor. It is configured in PAL and 1080p. I swap the config to a lower resolution and I found that the blue icons of the beggining were fixed. But some times it turns another time blue. The other graphical bugs still here. I also tested the graphics with CS GO. The game was not showing artifacts but it was not playable. It was in low getting masive frame drops. org.chameleon.Boot.plist I am also adding the boot.plist. I just remembered that I am having a bug in verbose mode: Thanks for everything and your time reading this. If you can help me and you need something please ask for it. 22. [Guide] Yosemite update to 10.10.5

[Guide] Yosemite update to 10.10.5 This post is a follow-up to my previous guide on installing Yosemite 10.10.0 (Yosemite Zone) on a late-2015 build that you can view here. Now we will be updating from 10.10.0 to 10.10.5. You will have to do the update through the App Store and then reboot the system when prompted. Once the update finishes, the Nvidia Web Drivers will be in need of updating and you will not be able to reboot into the system without the following bootflags: -v nv_disable=1 GraphicsEnabler=No Once you've done that, you'll now want to update the Nvidia Web Drivers to meet the version necessary for 10.10.5. Then update once you're prompted after the Nvidia installation. This time you don't even have to bother with any bootflags and you should have a functioning 10.10.5 hackintosh. Proof

  25. [Guide] Yosemite installation on a Late-2015 build Components of the Build Intel Core i5-4690K: ~$240.98 Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo: ~$34.88 Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3: ~$197.79 Crucial 1x8GB DDR3-1600: ~$49.89 Samsung 850 EVO 250GB: ~$99.99 Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200: ~$46.88 EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti SC: ~$124.99 Thermaltake Chaser A31 Thunder: ~$79.99 EVGA 500W 80+ PSU: ~$36.99 Total Cost: ~$912.38 Software Requirements Multibeast 7.5 for Yosemite Nvidia Web Drivers Preface If you do not own a Mac system, then you'll need to source TransMac. If you do own a Mac system, then you'll need to restore the Yosemite Zone DMG file to your flash drive using the Disk Utility app. If you do not own an 8+ GB flash drive, then you'll need to source one to restore Yosemite to. I would recommend at least a 16 GB flash drive that way you could restore future images of OS X such as El Capitan and Sierra. Do not forget to save a copy of Multibeast on the flash drive, otherwise you'll have to source Multibeast without a working ethernet connection. Step-By-Step Reboot the system and hold down the DELETE key to enter the BIOS. Once in the BIOS, you'll need to press the F7 button to restore any custom BIOS settings to their factory defaults and then press F2 to enter the class mode. When you're in classic mode, you will want to disable VT-d, set xHCI to auto mode, activate xHCI hand-off, activate EHCI hand-off, set SATA to AHCI, and set the memory mode to a more stable setting. (There should be 3 choices, choose the setting that has "stable" or "secure" in its name) Press F10 to save your changes and reboot the system. This time you want to hold down the F12 button to enter the boot device selection screen and choose your flash drive that has the Yosemite install image on it. Press TAB on the keyboard to enter boot flags and enter the following flags without the quotation marks: " -v -x GraphicsEnabler=No nv_disable=1 " Now you should sit back and hopefully you'll boot into the OS X installer and not into a kernel panic. (You'll be at a high risk of kernel panics throughout the installation process, so bear that in mind please) Now you will want to enter the Disk Utility app from the top menu of the OS X installer and erase the Samsung 850 EVO storage device. (You can not make an HFS+ partition alongside any Windows partitions on your SSD) Now you can exit the Disk Utility app by pressing WIN+Q (which equates to the COMMAND+Q on a macintosh keyboard) and you can select the SSD as your target installation drive. Do not customize the Yosemite setup, just click on the SSD as your target installation drive and continue to the most important step of the installation; getting the OS X files on to your SSD. Sit back and relax until the OS X installer prompts you to reboot, and then let it reboot. This time; if you don't have any other OS installation disks inserted into your computer, it should boot into the default Yosemite Zone bootloader. You want to enter the same boot flags as you did on step 4 of this guide. " -v -x GraphicsEnabler=No nv_disable=1 " Now you'll be finishing up the installation of OS X, you don't have to bother setting up with an Apple account since we'll be disabling auto-updates to ensure that any software upgrades won't brick your hackintosh installation. Once you're on the desktop you'll notice a few things: There is no transparency, the resolution is small, QE/CI isn't functioning, audio isn't functioning, and the ethernet isn't functioning. If that's the case, then good. Now you'll want to copy Multibeast from the Yosemite installer flash drive to the OS X desktop and run it. Select DSDT Free from the Quick Start area and then head on over to the Drivers area to select the following: Realtek ALC887 audio (the modern version should suffice), Realtek RTL8111 (version 2.X should suffice), SSD Trim support, and USB 3.0 support. Then you'll want to proceed to the Build tab to install those kexts. Once Yosemite Zone is finished setting things up (the notifications should tell you when it's finished), you'll want to reboot the system and this time you should see a different boot screen. Press the TAB button like before and begin typing in the following boot flags: " -v -f " Now you should have working sound, working ethernet, you should be able to plug in a USB 3.0 device into a USB 3.0 port without OS X freezing up, and you should have TRIM support for your SSD (which helps out heaps when dealing with file transfers). Now you'll want to head on over to Google to grab the Nvidia drivers for OS X and install them. Reboot when prompted and enter the same bootflags as you did in step 14 to get back into the OS X installation. Then you'll want to go into the System Preferences panel and select NVIDIA Driver Manager. Click on the lock icon in the bottom-left corner of the window if the settings are locked, and proceed to select the NVIDIA Web Driver option and reboot again. Use the same boot flags as you did in step 14 and you should notice that most of the graphical glitches are gone and that the screen resolution should now match the monitor's native resolution. You should also see QE/CI functioning and transparency should be enabled. Now to disable auto-updates from messing up your installation of Yosemite, you'll want to head over to the System Preferences panel and select the App Store option. Untick all of the boxes and you should be finished with your installation of OS X Yosemite. Screenshot of a Finished Installation
