Bootloader Issue

Recommended Posts

thatdhruv

Hi! I have a Fujitsu Lifebook-AH531 from 2011 with an Intel i5-2430M (SSE2/SSE3) processor, Intel HD Graphics 3000 512M, FJNBB0F motherboard.

I have installed Niresh OS X (Mavericks), but I have a problem. My laptop is BIOS-only, so it cannot boot from GPT disk. And I can't install OS X on a MBR partitioned disk. So is there a way I can install a bootloader on this machine?

Thanks in advance

@thatdhruv What is your current partition scheme?

My current partition scheme is GPT, and I have to use my installer USB to boot into my machine (which is quite inconvenient).

Is there a solution in which I can have both GPT and MBR partition schemes on the same disk?
