How to boot into Chameleon installer

Recommended Posts

hello!

First of all,I am really a noob to Hackentosh.

I am trying to install High Sierra onto a Lenovo Thinkstation S20.  It has an Xeon quad, 16G, GTX 770, Empty 1Tb drive.  But it does NOT have UEFI.  I am stuck with a BIOS and from what I have read, that means I need to boot into the Chameleon installer..............

However I have not found any clear instructions on how to boot into Chameleon installer.  I read in one post that Chameleon should be available on the USB drive.  I read in another post something about pressing the number 2.  But it was unclear as to how or when to press #2.  The help file was also unhelpful in this regard.

This post about non UEFI BIOS and Chameleon installer is news to me!

I've already installed High Sierra onto my Toshiba Satellite L750 laptop, 3-4 days ago, but no bootloader has been installed. I've trid to install Clover lots of times, but after getting a message that it's been installed, I restart and find I still can't boot up without the Installer USB being plugged in.

How can I install Chameleon bootloader?
